Digital assets supporting SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Chair: Fulvio Marelli, Reliance
A sustainable world requires the building of resilient infrastructure, the promotion of inclusive and sustainable industrialisation, and the fostering innovation, as per SDG 9.
This session will showcase various scientific disciplines and tools developed therein through the lens of benefits generated by interdisciplinary and open science, such as better disaster prevention through geophysics and vulcanology, increased efficiency and collaboration in earth and marine sciences, or science-ready data analysis and availability from the world’s largest low-frequency radiotelescope.
Use cases
- Geohazards and Disaster Risk Management with the Reliance services, Elisa Trasatti, National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. – Presentation
- Interdisciplinary research in Earth Science, Federica Foglini, CNR – ISMAR. – Presentation
- How to make radio astronomy data products from the LOFAR (Low Frequency Array) telescope available through DICE, Timothy Shimwell, Astron. – Presentation
There will be time for a Q&A.
